Terms of Service

Turnhouse ("the app"), operated by CJ Norman, helps short-term rental hosts schedule turnover cleanings, coordinate with cleaners, verify completed work with checklists and photos, and track payments. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these terms.

You are responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your sign-in credentials private. Hosts are responsible for the accuracy of the calendar links, property details, prices, and checklists they enter. Cleaners are responsible for the accuracy of their profile, phone number, and payment details.

Turnhouse reads booking calendars (such as Airbnb and Vrbo iCal feeds) that you choose to connect, and creates cleaning projects from them. We do not guarantee that a third-party calendar is complete, current, or error-free; you remain responsible for confirming your own schedule.

Turnhouse does not process, hold, or transfer money. Payments are made directly between host and cleaner through their own Venmo or PayPal accounts. Amounts shown in the app come from the prices hosts set. Turnhouse is not a party to any payment and is not responsible for disputes between hosts and cleaners.

Turnhouse Job Alerts is our text message program. If you provide a mobile number and tick the consent box at sign-up or on your profile, Turnhouse sends you service text messages about your own cleaning jobs: new assignments, schedule and time changes, cancellations, day-before reminders, completed cleans, reported problems, and payment prompts. We do not send marketing or promotional texts, and consent is never required to use Turnhouse.

You will receive about 10–15 messages per month, depending on how many cleans you have. Message and data rates may apply.

Reply STOP to any message to cancel all texts at any time. Reply HELP for help, or contact support at cjnorman17@gmail.com. Stopping texts does not affect the alerts shown inside the app.

Consent is given directly to Turnhouse, on the Turnhouse sign-up form or profile screen, for this messaging program only — it is a separate, unchecked box and is never bundled into your agreement to these terms. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, and are never sold, bought, or transferred. Turnhouse does not engage in affiliate marketing, third-party marketing, or lead generation of any kind.

Cleaners upload completion photos and hosts upload property information. You keep ownership of your content and grant Turnhouse the limited right to store and display it to the people involved in that job. Do not upload content you have no right to share.

Do not misuse the app: no unlawful activity, no accessing other users' data, no interfering with the service, and no uploading harmful or misleading content.

The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Turnhouse and its operator are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, lost profits, missed cleanings, or issues arising from third-party services such as booking platforms, Venmo, PayPal, or the phone carriers that deliver text messages.
