Privacy Policy

Turnhouse, operated by CJ Norman, collects the information needed to run the service:

• Account details: name, email address, and (optionally) phone number.
• Host-entered information: property names and addresses, booking calendar links, checklists, prices, and notes.
• Cleaner-entered information: profile details and Venmo or PayPal handles used so hosts can pay them.
• Photos uploaded to verify completed cleanings.
• Booking dates read from the calendar links a host connects.

We use this information to schedule and coordinate turnover cleanings, show job details to the people involved, record completion, track payment status, and send notifications about jobs. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers.

Consent is collected on our website: on the Turnhouse sign-up form at turnhouse.lovable.app/auth and on the profile/settings screen inside your account, using a separate box that is unchecked by default. Screenshots of both screens, and the exact wording of the box, are on our messaging page.

If you give Turnhouse your mobile number and tick that consent box at sign-up or on your profile, Turnhouse sends you service text messages about your own cleaning jobs — new assignments, schedule changes, cancellations, day-before reminders, completed cleans, reported problems, and payment prompts. We never send marketing or promotional texts. You will receive about 10–15 messages per month, and message and data rates may apply.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Your number is used only to deliver these notifications, through our messaging provider Twilio, which transmits the messages on our behalf. Reply STOP to any message to opt out at any time, reply HELP for help, or email us at the address below. Opting out of texts does not affect your in-app notifications. Information inside Turnhouse is visible only to the people involved in a job: a host sees their own properties and cleans, and a cleaner sees the cleans at properties they are connected to. Photos and contact details are never public.

We rely on a small number of providers to operate: Supabase (database, file storage, and sign-in), Twilio (text message delivery), and Lovable (hosting). Booking calendar data comes from the platforms whose calendar links a host connects (such as Airbnb or Vrbo). Payments happen directly in Venmo or PayPal and never pass through Turnhouse.

Cleaning records are kept so hosts can look back at past cleans. Completion photos are kept for 12 months and then removed automatically. You can ask us to delete your account and associated personal information by contacting us.

Access to data is restricted by per-user permissions enforced on the server, and photos are stored privately with time-limited access links. No method of storage is perfectly secure, but protecting your information is a priority.
